Nerolac Exterior Primer Paint
Nerolac Exterior Primer is a water based wall coating suitable for application on exteriors as a Primer to exterior emulsions.
Nerolac Exterior Primer has good opacity and whiteness, which helps improve the appearance of the emulsion topcoats. Nerolac Exterior Primer does not chalk and can be applied on freshly plastered surfaces that are adequately cured. Nerolac Exterior Primer does not require any water curing.
RECOMMENDED USAGE
Nerolac Exterior Primer can be applied on a wide range of exterior cement plasters, exterior ceilings, asbestos sheet, concrete etc. as a primer.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface to be painted must be free of all dust, grease, traces of paint flakes. algae, fungus, etc. The surface previously coated with paint must be cleaned thoroughly with a stiff coir brush, to remove dust, dirt chalking or any friable material. This ensures proper adhesion of the now paint system. In case of fungus affected area, apply a liberal coat of Nerolac Fungicidal Solution. Allow it to react for minimum 6 - 8 hrs. All structural cracks must be open in V-shape filled with White Cement / Cement based Plasters, all leakage should be stopped, before actual painting. Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. Apply top coats as follows.
